Predictably irrational!

Brazil should have electricity prices among the most competitive in the world given the availability of renewable sources (hydro, wind, solar, biomass, etc.). which are much more competitive than the fossil fuels.

But it's the 60th! And so what?

A striking feature of electricity providers and consumers is irrationality.

Our predilection is to keep everything as it is!

Changing requires a posture that most of us don't like. From regulators, governments, suppliers and consumers of energy.

As long as there is no wake up call, it's hard to imagine a different picture. In the meantime, we will continue to pay more than our competitors.
