Keep calm and carry was a promotional slogan on posters in Britain to discourage panic, chaos and depression. They were created in 1939 as World War II loomed and were intended to raise the morale of the British public. Never mind the dire situation, as it were, because panicking will get you no where. Now, some 80 years later, the pandemic has triggered a major labor shortages. Businesses and company managers may have agreed the best thing to do is to just keep working. Never mind the labor shortage, we can just work through it.
