Energy and the parliamentary inquiry committee (Covid-19)

Energy and the parliamentary inquiry committee (Covid-19)
What are the most likely scenarios in relation to the result of this PIC? How will they influence the energy business?
"Emptying" scenario
"Hot cloths" as per the Brazilian popular saying will "cushion" any initiatives that seek to identify the wrongdoers, those responsible and above all, proposing punishments to the extent provided by the Justice.
It can be predicted that there will be a loss of credibility - internal and external. The (additional) devaluation of the Real and the disinterest of international investors in projects in Brazil.
"Accountability" scenario
The main representatives of the Executive Branch will be removed from their positions, including the President of the Republic and the Ministers of Health involved.
There will be room for a new start for Brazil, signaling that a new attitude, healthy and with the backing of conformity to good principles, will potentially open a promising future for the country
Difficult but very valuable times for a much needed "turn around". Or not!
