This is a very big deal!

Increased funding and support to State Energy Offices to further their engagement in transmission policy and planning will help on many levels. In NASEO's Resolution: "The NASEO Board of Directors encourages the deployment of grid modernization technologies that enable demand flexibility and system resilience that benefits consumers and positively impacts transmission and distribution planning;" Further: "That the NASEO Board of Directors encourages State Energy Officials to collaborate with other state and local agencies, and energy providers to consider and utilize to the maximum extent practical strategies that can augment system resilience and leverage U.S. Department of Energy identified strategies, which includes measures such as reconductoring of power lines with low-sag, low-resistance, high-performance, efficient, cost-effective, advanced conductors"

While the use of Advanced Conductors such as the ACCC® Conductor which has been widely deployed as a technical solution for well over 1,000 projects in over 60 countries, using this technology for ‘every-day’ projects will deliver substantial economic, social and environmental benefits. CTC Global and our 35 conductor manufacturing partners applaud NASEO’s Resolution.
