LS Power's DesertLink subsidiary has energized a transmission line it says boosts the capacity to import power to California by at least 200 MW.
LS said the Harry Allen to El Dorado line is one of three that the California Independent System Operator selected its affiliates to build through competitive processes under the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Order 1000.
