Joint venture agrees Western Link redress with Ofgem | National Grid Group
The Western Link is an ambitious UK project to share electricity between Scotland and Wales. It is two years behind schedule, hence the regulatory investigation. The scale of the project (262 miles of cable, of which 239 miles is under water) as well as the cutting-edge technology involved, has resulted in delays to completion.
