Another great article by Catherine Clifford that explains a number of key reasons why our grid and policies need to move forward. Her article includes a lot of fresh data and input from many notable experts. A very good read! I'd like to add that the use of Advanced Conductors (via reconductoring) is helping prepare our existing grid for the influx of more renewables. This is a very positive step forward and being proven extensively worldwide - as groups like the Asian Development Bank are insisting on the use of Advanced Conductors to future-proof the grid and reduce line losses that waste generation assets.
