Thanks for sharing, Steven. These are issues I would think would resonate with leaders of all political tilts, at every level of government, and be a high priority. Are you finding that to be the case when you're looking to spread to message, or are their still typical bureaucratic/political hurdles?

This issue does resonate.  For solutions, the details matter and lots of good people in industry, government and vendors are working on this.

Not too surprising that the bad guys are targeting supply chains as a possible way into grid critical infrastructure. In many of the large recent security breaches, the entry way came from a connection to a third party. While utillities understand and try to lock down, they have less knowledge about and are perhaps more cavalier with third party connections. Security is only as strong at its weakest link, so more attention needs to be placed on those connections.
