Disaster in the making: a monopoly owning the country's interstate electicity transmission network.

The Green New Deal promises to unravel 100 years of progress in delivering inexpensive, reliable electricity to every American, whether they live in a city or on a farm. Whatever the color of their skin, whatever their income level. It promises to do exactly the opposite of what proponents claim it will do.

Just slap a "green" label on it and people will believe anything.
