I think so. Green Button (and other forms of data sharing/access) will help drive innovative third party involvement in decarbonization solutions. That is, solutions that are above and beyond what utilities themselves are already doing. While useful, data access platforms are limited by consumers wanting to opt-in to sharing their data with others.
