While Energy Central is up to serious business in the utility sector all the time, we don't forget to stop and enjoy the small things, like a fresh donut to go along with your morning cup of coffee. And in fact, this Friday, June 4, is the big day I know you all have been waiting for: National Donut Day!

Well, maybe you didn't (yet) have it circled on your calendar, but given that donuts are a veritable passion of Energy Central's CEO we wanted to celebrate the occasion with a fun competition.

Here's the deal:

  • If you want to participate, simply share a post, link, resource, or question to the Energy Central community at any point on Friday June 4th (give or take a few hours, to account for time zone differences!)
  • The following week, we'll put together a list of all the submissions and use a random process to select three Energy Central contributions from National Donut Day to be selected as winners.
  • Whoever submitted each of those three posts will be entitled to a box of donuts from their preferred local donut shop, courtesy of Energy Central! We'll be in touch with the winner via email to arrange the specifics.

So if you've been sitting on a really exciting blog topic, have been meaning to share your controversial link, or simply think you know best what will get the Energy Central community reading and buzzing, queue up that submission for Friday.

Looking forward to seeing your submissions!

The Energy Central Power Industry Network is based on one core idea - power industry professionals helping each other and advancing the industry by sharing and learning from each other.

If you have an experience or insight to share or have learned something from a conference or seminar, your peers and colleagues on Energy Central want to hear about it. It's also easy to share a link to an article you've liked or an industry resource that you think would be helpful.
