As new EVs, like the Porsche Taycan, Jaguar iPace, and Mercedes EQC, with bigger batteries capable of handling more power hit the market, EV charging providers are busily increasing the amount of power at their EV charging stations. How exactly is this done? What are the challenges on the way? Can the grid handle this? What lessons have been learned in this process? Hear directly from the experts in the CEE region, who share their experience with increasing power at the charging stations mechanically via the infrastructure.

Power can be increased via power management software as well. In the second half of this episode you can listen to an interview with Elias Pyory from Virta about their cloud based energy management system. It’s all about power and power management as we build towards installing our first Ultrafast charging stations and learn lots of things along the way.

Thanks for sharing, Julia-- these topics will continue to be pressing and utilities don't want to be left behind once sales do pick up and customers are left wondering why the local utility hasn't yet embraced their needs
