Brazil: what about of the energy crisis?

Will the supply of electricity meet the demand?

Our leaders signal tranquility.

They defend the thesis that there is no risk of a blackout and/or rationing. It is especially a question of cost increases given greater dispatch from thermal plants (way more expensive than the hydro that account for 2/3 of the country's power matrix)..

It is very tempting to accept this signal. "Let it go". If and when something different comes up, then yes, "what to do" will be addressed.

But if you have as a a rule of thumb to prepare for possible scenarios - different from those that are being flagged - it is high time to explore the alternatives!
