Fuel national operator in Brazil?
Government proposal presents the National Fuel Operator, based on the ONS (National Electric System Operator).
The fight against fuel evasion and adulteration are among the justifications for this undertaking.
It's an illusion. This is probably just another way of creating a stronghold for friends of party leaders and those with whom agreements must be made when it comes to sharing power!
The ONS, for example, is an expert in dispatching the power plants that supply electricity to the national system. But ONS is not an expert, by far, in the fight against power theft that for many decades have represented billions off Dollars a year.
The Fuel ONS will, objectively, not be able to combat (successfully) tax evasion and adulteration. Organised crime is much more "organised" than the Public Power.
This is yet another cost that will be embedded - without ceremony - for Brazilians, devoid of any value that will be delivered, objectively.
