The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has issued Licence to Establish (LTE), the first floating Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production plant to an indigenous oil and gas company.

Mr Sarki Auwalu, Director, DPR who presented the licence said the company would be processing 176MMcfd natural gas and condensate.

Would the oil and gas production be more for domestic use or for export to other nations?

Thank you for this Matt.

The natural gas and condensate produced by this project, may probably be for export to other nations. The commercial direction of the project will most likely be disclosed in the nearest future.
