Covid, the Russian Invasion and Brazil

Covid, the Russian Invasion and Brazil

The pandemic and the war are two main factors that have brought inflation to the center of world affairs.

At the verge of double digits, the vast majority of countries are seeing inflation erode the purchasing power of their populations.

And electricity tariffs fit into this scenario. This year, the adjustments already granted and to be granted by ANEEL (the regulatory body) will be significant.

This situation should give rise to well-known initiatives to reduce costs through successful programs that were launched  in other countries such as demand response, power theft reduction, implementation of the white tariff (time of use) for the residential sector, among others.

Or will we continue in this same tune, as always?
