The big challenges

High inflation has become universal.

A gigantic headache because the known result is the loss of purchasing power for the vast majority.

And this time, the installed crisis has very peculiar characteristics in each country involved. Unlike other times when there was a basically an equal base of factors causing inflation.

In other words, the remedies to face the challenge must be different according to the specific situation of each country.

In Brazil we still have a huge contingent of unemployed. In the United States, on the contrary: for each of the small unemployed minority, there are two job offers open.

So each country should evaluate its case and take the appropriate measures.

And what will Brazil do?

In the electric power & energy sectors there is a special need for reaching a sustainable balance! By that I mean less governmental interference especially associated with cronies and elections.

If this happens the market will operate in a safer manner, investor will be interested in projects and perceived risks will diminish!

The big question is: what is reasonable to expect?
