Electrification of transportation modes must be implemented immediately throughout the world's metropolitan areas. I take an example from air pollution from public transportation in Indonesia which has reached 60%, this figure is very worrying about the prolonged environmental impact on people's lives. Coupled with the still large use of coal as an electricity producer will also further worsen the air quality of the gas discharge from fuel & coal.

To compensate for the amount of pollution resulting from these two activities, electrification in the general transportation mode must be implemented immediately and the community green energy business must active to demand clear regulatory from governments of each country around the world.

What is the impact on Utilities

The impact on utilities is the increasing demand for energy availability to support operations on public transportation from conventional fuel to green electrical energy. This change will certainly bring blessings to the energy business, especially renewable energy based on Solar PV and Wind to reduce conventional power plants. But even more, importantly the impact of clean air is the main blessing of the electrification of public transport modes.

The large consumption of fuel oil (BBM) energy in the transportation sector and contributing to the highest emissions requires automotive industry players to switch to environmentally friendly energy with the current trend of electric vehicles or cars. The government, especially Jakarta, is fully aware of Jakarta's improving air quality, which is also supported by better public transportation.

The reason is, the electrification of transportation and vehicles in general in Jakarta is one of the solutions that is feasible to be used as an effort to free Jakarta from harmful emissions due to pollution from fossil fuels.

By applying electrification to the public transportations, the potential business of providing Energy Storage Systems (ESS) will develop quickly, more efficiently and effectively than building a new

grid to support electrification transportations. The function of the ESS is supply for charging station, also stored exceeding energy supply from the grid.

Utilities have a great chance to use the Vehicles to be more efficient by using excess power at night and not charging during the day time peaks. The right rate plan can work for EVeryone. You can also add V2G Vehicle To GRID like the visual battery Tesla has put together with thousands of Home Power Walls. There are so many ways you can work with home business and vehicles that there are no limits. It is good for EVeryone and the Environment.

Agreed, excess energy is the best way to be stored energy for charging station EV rather than get directly from the grid. Very interesting thought and need to be implemented immediately
