As the utility industry moves to aggregate our operational capabilities with information technology functions, we need to keep in mind that the operational side of our business utilizes IT resources.  With it comes the need to make sure our IT Assets are managed appropriately along-side the asset management capabilities of our field devices.  The failure of IT assets impact the field ability to complete work orders on-time, which could impact our customer’s experience.  The placemat provides a complete picture of our enterprise assets health.  Thanks to everyone who helped develop this placemat.  We continue to evolve as an industry through our great collaborators.
