I am sorry that wildfires happened and the electrical infrastructure was involved.

However, there are many lessons to be learned about protection and faults in the report just released by the CPUC.

If you are involved in Protection, Distribution Design or Operations, you should take the time to read this report. It tells me we don't have the right protection or detection algorithms yet for some industry designs.
