I worked at Iridium Satellite and they had the only coverage for the entire Earth. Other just cover the equator. They also have solar panels that can be purchased to power you phone. So if there is no network and no local power you can still communicate. No extra software is needed. They have it all covered.

Question
Total solution (Hardware, Communication & Software) satellite phone vendors
- Sep 13, 2021 6:53 pm GMT
I am interested in hearing from utilities that have experience in dealing with vendors who offer total solutions for satellite phone communications. That would mean hardware, software, implementation etc. The use cases would be the obvious. Remote area communications where cell networks do not cover and emergency situation communications.
