After 30 years, the U.K.'s system operator is getting the boot in favor of a new "future systems operator" that will focus on steering the republic towards its climate goals. This is all happening as the region prepares to connect millions of electric vehicles, smart appliances and other green tech to its electricity system. Interesting to see such a public dinosaur cull. Definitely a way to show seriousness about the climate crisis.
