The U.S. Department of Energy has stated that the capacity of the grid needs to increase by 60% in less than eight years if we are to meet our decarbonization mandates. Considering that it is still very difficult to secure permits for new transmission lines, increasing the capacity of the existing grid using Advanced Conductors such as ACCC is a very quick, cost-effective and highly proven way to get the job done.
