For those of you based in the U.S., happy holiday weekend! But the grid rests for no holidays, and in fact being ready and available on the frontline no matter the day or the season or the time is one of the most paramount duties for those who work to maintain the grid. With that, the past month has been a busy one for our Grid Professionals Group on Energy Central. Energy Central’s Grid Modernization Special Issue
First and foremost, it was a busy month in this community because Energy Central released our special issue on Grid Modernization. We got so many really great solutions from experts and thought leaders across the utility space, and if you want to know what’s been going on in the Energy Central Grid Professionals Group, this is where you need to start. Energy Central Power Perspectives™: Automating Assets, an Interview with Mika Loukkalahti of Helen Oy
In anticipation of the Grid Asset Management 2020 conference set to take place this Fall, Energy Central welcomed an interview and profile with Mika Loukkalahti, Leading Expert of Asset Management of Helen Electricity Network Ltd in Finland. Mika is going to be presenting on automating assets this September, and his perspective on grid needs and technologies should not be missed.
