Honestly, it's a relieve that the grid was not the primary target here. Still, I worry the press recent grid attacks have gotten, including Russia's campaign against Ukraine's electric system, will inspire more such incidents.

On Christmas Day, an act of sabotage cut off power for thousands of people near Tacoma, Wash. Federal agents have charged two men with conspiracy, saying they used the outage to rob a local business.
