The American spirit and innovation are also alive and well at EOS Energy.

IMO, Zinc based batteries are the safest option when it comes to protecting first responders from harm and impacts to the environment:

The "product is non-flammable, non-toxic, fully recyclable after its life, and efficient in that it can operate in a wide voltage and temperature range. "

There's a lot of inherent advantages to keeping the production of these important systems state-side, but I worry still about how much the allure of cheaper manufacturing overseas will be too much for most to ignore. Kudos to this company for doubling down on domestic production, and I hope federal energy policy continues to reward them-- hopefully they'll start off this needed trend and show what's possible with U.S. workers, facilities, etc.
