USA, Hydrogen | Investing In America Agenda

USA | Investing In America

It’s clear the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is supportive of  hydrogen –  $62 million awarded to 20 projects across 15 states to accelerate a hydrogen economy in the U.S.

The impact of these funds stretches beyond the companies to which they are awarded, supporting so many players in the growing U.S. hydrogen ecosystem and motivating investment from private companies.

These include; ZEV Station, awarded $10m for innovative refueling technology and Linde $10m for a heavy-duty truck fueling station design using pipeline hydrogen delivery in LaPorte, TX.

Linde’s extensive U.S. Gulf Coast industrial gas infrastructure comprises a network of more than 30 air separation and hydrogen production facilities, liquid storage facilities, and an underground high purity hydrogen storage cavern. This network is connected by over 1,000 kilometers of hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen pipelines and ensures reliable supply of industrial gases to thousands of Linde’s customers across the region.
