Things to Ponder: Nuclear Power

BNEF has just found that we will only reduce GHG by 22% by 2030, instead of the needed 50%. Likely we will not make it to 22% given AI and other new loads.

South Korea has shown that with the right MOJO, a country can build Nuclear Reactors in 4 years for under $5 billion dollars.

Can the US regain their MOJO from the 1940-1970 time period and build Nuclear power plants by the handful?

Should we do so?

Can the US regain the MOJO of the Apollo years?

Can we regain our leadership in Engineering, Science, and Manufacturing?

Should we regain that leadership?

Would national mega-projects lead to more unity or more disfunction?

Is there anyone in the US today that has the following to be able to cause this to happen?

Does the US Public care, one way or another? Should we try to inspire children?

Do you care?

Think about it, it is a good weekend to noodle on these questions. We only have one planet, and you are 99.999999% likely to never leave this planet.
