The UK is signing trade cooperation agreement with Texas, continuing its state-level deals strategy due to the lack of a broader US free trade agreement. Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch and Texas Governor Greg Abbott will formally seal the deal in Westminster on Wednesday.
This arrangement is targeted at sectors where the UK and Texas have shared expertise such as new energy solutions - including hydrogen and carbon capture, utilisation, and storage.
