EVs & Data Centers
Electric vehicles and data centers will be the main drivers of increased demand in countries that prepare for these two new and important loads.
In other words, in addition to the traditional increase in energy consumption of those countries that increase their GDP per capita, EVs and data centers represent new challenges for national electrical systems.
A conservative expectation for Brazil would be an increase in demand of 10 GW by the end of this decade.
The associated investment in generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, for 10 GW, would be USD 30 Billion. It's definitely an important value at stake.
It is vital to have to plan to make it happen. Will Brazil adopt this posture?
