This letter, written by a smart meter-skeptic from Snohomish, Washington, takes me back to the early 2010's, when the ascendant technology was mired in controversy. Although smart meters won out, there still exists concern over the devices and the privacy and security risks they pose—and those concerns are not totally unjustified.
