During the summer, renewable energy sources will see the largest increases in U.S. electric power generation, according to the US Energy Information Administration. Between June and August, solar generation will grow by 10 million megawatthours (MWh) and wind generation by 8 million MWh. Coal and natural gas will decline by 26 million MWh this summer.
