Much of the U.S. has already experienced heatwaves this summer and we're only entering July. Excessive heat is predicted to plunge multiple U.S. regions into electricity emergencies between now and September as demand skyrockets. PG&E are working on installing microgrids and reinforcing its grid capabilities and Texas is working to update their grid after winter and late spring energy shortages.
