How to lock power deals in Brazil?

The free market has brought great opportunities to reduce costs for companies and institutions.

This is the image when you look in the rear-view mirror!

How about the future? How to conceive a robust, defensible strategy that passes through the sieve of corporate governance?

Prices for future delivery are still  excellent.  But.... for long term contracts... they are indexed. And there begins a challenge that cannot be ignored.

How then to model your contract?

It will be worth exploring the alternatives, analyzing the associated risks so that good quality decisions can be made.

Word from someone who has already helped in contracting strategies for more than USD 2 billion , whether in the regulated/deregulated power markets and other sources such as biomass, bio-diesel and local generation/co-generation..
