Energy: 6 proven recommendations

To achieve and maintain competitive results, for companies and institutions:

1. Buy electricity for the long term
2. Contract gas and/or biomass, and/or solar, etc. to do cost arbitrage
3. Model contracting prices including "collar", "spot" and combinations
4. Define volume criteria to avoid losses associated with differences - contracted x used energy
5. Close contracts in stages (not all at once)
6. Use mathematical models to identify attractive prices for closing

It will be worth learning about each of these recommendations. The results may surprise you!
