Electrification and emission reduction
Brazil has a spectacular potential to reduce emissions while reducing costs for consumers!
A great example is water heating for residential use.
Replacing gas - piped natural or in cylinders/LPG - with electrical energy is one of these opportunities.
I am referring in particular to water thermal storage tanks that would be fed during off-peak hours. Just like I've done at home for decades. It works super well and without any maintenance!
This opportunity only depends on us, Brazilians. Would our leaders in the electricity sector have the drive to make it happen?
