The US Department of Energy launched a pilot program to accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies with the potential to improve energy efficiency in the industrial sector and water and wastewater treatment facilities. For each winning proposal, a team of experts led by DOE’s Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO), Lawrence Berkely National Laboratory, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory will design a measurement and verification plan, conduct on-site data collection and testing at the Better Plants partner’s host site, 6analyze performance, and draft a field validation report. What impact do you think the program will have on US energy efficiency?
