Not only is it Energy Efficiency Day, but it will be Halloween soon too. What is scarier than energy vampires when trying to be energy efficient? One of my home state's (Arizona) utilities has a handy calculator on their site to help customers "Slay the energy vampires".

I just moved from DC to Florida and wanted to see how that jump looked when rated according to ACEEE's state-by-state (and Washington DC) scorecard.

Looks like I moved from the #7 most efficient to the #24 most efficient. So the Meme for that...
