GRU expands eligibility for energy efficiency benefits with pandemic relief funding
Energy efficiency is essential as demand for electricity continues to grow. Many have already updated windows, insulation, and made other basic repairs to conserve energy. However, to level the playing field, Gainesville Regional Utilities is expanding its Low-income Energy Efficiency Program (LEEP-plus). The expansion will help many more to take advantage of energy savings. Customers who qualify can expect up to $10,000 in upgrades per home.
