Those net-zero building commitments are adding up

An ongoing theme is how to decarnonize infrastructure and that's a particularly interesting question during COVID when so many are unoccupied. "Right now, there are 1 billion buildings in the world, and that footprint will double by 2060. It is difficult to know how many buildings are operating at net-zero because some buildings are operating at net-zero because of the renewable energy supplied by the grid."
