Power (Brazil): what to do with the billionaire loss?

The reduction in electricity consumption due to the CV-19 has hit companies and institutions hard.

In order of magnitude, conservatively assuming a 20% reduction in consumption for 3 months, it is equivalent to::

* Contracted amount of unconsumed energy of USD 1 Billion
* Market price for the settlement of this energy of USD 0.2 billion
* Systemic loss o USD 0,8 billion

It will be more than prudent for all participants of this value chain to quickly meet and negotiate a a deal regarding these losses.

Way better (and cheaper) than the alternative of waiting many years for the Brazilian Judiciary to reach a verdict.
