Chairman Glick is leaving FERC in January. I do not know the reason why nor who will act as Chair.

Here is a link to a FERC podcast with Chairman Glick.

This is a time where the old nickname for FERC, the most important government agency you've never heard of, will definitely apply. I don't expect too many mainstream headlines on what this means for FERC in the coming year, but it will be immensely impactful given the state of our grid modernization targets.

I'd would like to see a FERC person take over that understands the GRID and Climate change. Someone like Dr Steven Chu who seemed to have some good ideas about how to move foreward and be a leader. It will be interesting to see who does take over and if it will make a difference.
