Many people are familiar with the monikers that communicate a clear and consistent message about a product or service, such as EnergyStar and the UL emblems that are proudly displayed on products. NIST has issued a call for papers to aid in the development of a similar labeling program/moniker that will immediately inform a consumer of the cybersecurity trustworthiness of a product through the display of this widely recognized emblem. I filed my comments on this topic with NIST yesterday.

Richard,

I like what you have done with this. Way to be ahead of the curve.

What type of utility products do you see being part of this program?  IoT covers such a wide array of products that it makes it hard to categorize all of them neatly.

Thanks, Steve
