"Next Generation of LPO Financing" illustrated poster series

LPO is excited to introduce the fourth installment of our "Next Generation of LPO Financing" illustrated poster series, which highlights the 13 LPO major tech sectors used in reporting our application activity every month (see: Energy.gov/LPO/MAAR). This poster release features three tech sectors that will form much of the foundation for the nation's broader clean energy transition: Advanced Nuclear, Advanced Vehicles & Components, and Carbon Management.

The Advanced Nuclear sector will become an increasingly important source of safe, reliable, and flexible baseload power as the nation decarbonizes its energy systems, helping to ensure there is reliable and affordable energy on a modern, decarbonized grid. Through the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) Loan Program, LPO supports the efforts of the Advanced Vehicles & Components sector to decarbonize, conserve fuel, and lower greenhouse gas emissions while onshoring and reshoring the nation's transportation supply chain and bringing high-quality jobs to the United States. The Carbon Management sector represents a broad array of technologies, from Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) to Industrial Decarbonization to Carbon Dioxide Transportation Infrastructure and more.
