A Micro Molten Salt Nuclear Reactor That Will Never Have A Meltdown Is In The Works

The molten-salt reactor is being commercialized by Alpha Tech Research Corp. They call it the ARC Generator. It uses uranium and fluoride salt. It doesn't need high-pressure containment, operates at 700 Celsius degrees and if it should lose power, any radioactivity is safely contained by the molten salt which crystallizes and freezes. Fitting on a semitrailer flatbed, the reactor can be transported almost anywhere and can operate both off or on the grid.
