Every week, I host 'The KJ Show,'Â which offers a mix of breaking news and practical advice on how the energy industry affects the consumer. During this fast-paced show, I combine weekly energy updates with conversations with leaders in the energy efficiency community.
After each show, I'll share it here with the Energy Central Community in case you were unable to join me live.
The KJ Show #51 - Stop The Insanity
Albert Einstein is credited with saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." This definition is surprisingly accurate in describing the transition to net zero or green energy.
Customers are pushing back against the green energy transition, as it becomes obvious that EVs, solar panels and wind turbines cause huge environmental damage. And governments are rethinking their green energy pledges too as they realize, like Germany, that energy from the sun and wind alone won’t meet their energy needs. After shutting down all their nuclear plants, Germany now relies on electricity from coal and natural gas supplied by other countries.
Isn’t it a bit mad to rely dirty “clean energy” to mitigate climate change, especially when these technologies harm the planet that we are trying to save?
On today’s show, Dr. Katherine Johnson will discuss these paradoxical energy policies with her guest Joel Gilbert, P.E., Co-Founder and Senior Advisor of Apogee Interactive.
