There is a consensus that proactivity, curiosity, teamwork, strategy creation and plan for its operationalization are part of a winning posture.
These characteristics are part of the speeches of everyone in the hierarchy of companies and institutions, which are a step above the floor of operations up to the highest executives.
But in real life, here in Brazil, the world is very different from this! The prevailing attitude favors the daily routine. There is hardly any pre-disposition to explore what is usually not known. And the most frequent consequence is the loss of opportunities, for the simple fact that they do not even enter the radar.
The excuses and explanations given for this state of affairs can be well summarized with the title of this post!
The good news is that "turning around this situation" is simple (but not necessarily easy) for those who want to achieve and maintain competitive metrics on power contracting costs and the efficient use of energy.
