Energy: the turnaround of decision-making processes

From a macro point of view, countries are deciding to emphasize renewable energies.

One consequence is the increase in investments per unit of installed capacity, as renewable sources are intermittent and need to be supported by traditional power plants to ensure continuity of energy supply at all times.

And so the need to optimize the investment portfolio arises, especially I refer to those that will be carried out by the client, behind the meter, whether in energy storage, demand management, distributed generation and cost arbitrage among energy sources.

The tradition in Brazil is based on a model in which managers - sought by suppliers of products and solutions - propose actions in the energy area to their C level.

The new format changes this paradigm given the complexity of the new energy world.. Companies and institutions, through their C level, will design strategies to achieve and maintain the competitiveness of their operations in the energy area. They will then ask their managers to make them happen.

A new world is opening up, for anyone who sees the opportunity!
