Thanks for sharing, Wil. I'm curious-- are there any nations that you'd consider the carbon removal leaders? Who's furthest along?

The United States could be considered a leader, both in terms of federal funding, which has risen dramatically in the past few years, albeit still modest, and the number of projects sited here. The European Union is also committed to carbon removal, and now includes negative emissions as a component of its 2050 net-zero pledge.
