Energy & the competitive advantage
Energy & the competitive advantage
Providing consultancy to companies and institutions in the energy area, I discovered two main lines of conduct among their leaders in Brazil:
1st) Minority
Places two references in a ranking: including other plants and/or buildings: (a) $/MWh of contracted energy cost considering all sources involved (electricity, gas, biomass, etc.) and (b) MWh/physical activity.
2nd) Majority
That do not place references. They follow the Brazilian style of improvisation, and there is an aversion to comaprisons because potetially they would have to find out how to improve. And it takes work.
How do you see yourself? In the platoon of those who challenge themselves or in those who prefer to "let it go"?
